Set against the dramatic landscape of the Dolomites, Al Plan Hotel exists in a space between nature and imagination, where the scale of the mountains meets interiors rich with detail, curiosities and character. The surrounding environment is not simply a backdrop, but an active presence that shapes the rhythm of the experience.
This project captures that duality: the vastness outside and the layered, eclectic world within. Each room, each corner, reveals a carefully assembled composition of textures, objects and references, creating an atmosphere that feels deeply personal and unconventional. There is a sense of discovery throughout, as if the space invites you to look closer, to notice, to linger.
Created as a visual narrative for the hotel, the images aim to elevate its identity while remaining faithful to its spirit. Rather than imposing a new aesthetic, the approach was to observe and refine, translating what already exists into a cohesive visual language suited for editorial and print.
The result is a body of work that moves fluidly between documentation and interpretation, preserving the authenticity of the family owned space while framing it through a more intentional, cinematic lens. A portrayal of a place that does not seek to impress in obvious ways, but instead reveals itself gradually, through atmosphere, detail, laughter and time.
