This time last year I was sure I was going to post more and higher quality content in 2016, but 2016 is almost over and it didn’t happen. It wasn’t an empty new year resolution (like the “new year, new me” bullshit), it was just my tendency to make big plans (definitely too big) and then having trouble sticking to them!
But TBH that wasn’t my only new year resolution, I also had an easier one, one I could nimbly attend to every day without feeling the pressure: last Christmas I decided I was going to up my Instagram game and I actually managed to do that!
I increased the quality of my photos, upgraded my photographic equipment, reached more than 3k followers (thank you, all of you!, for that) and new collabs; I also got the chance to (virtually) meet a lot of amazing women who are following their passions in their own, unique way and to make many fantastic and supportive friends.
I’m really looking forward to this 2017 and I hope it will be a great year for you all! And I’d also like to quote these beautiful words of Neil Gaiman:
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.
This is the NYE outfit I chose to say goodbye to 2016.

I think your content is already high quality and gorgeous! But I know what you mean, I wanted to post five days a week consistently and obviously that didn’t happen! But it’s good to make big goals for ourselves 😉
